Asthma friends, stop doing 【morning runs】!
Modern Taoist · Medical Prophet 【Dao Yi】 on asthma
Lately I see people hyping a “novel cure”: jogging at dawn while inhaling meds. I had to laugh—have you tried it yourself? For how many years? …No? Then it’s just a prank! Yes? Then you’re dragging others down with you!
When my master heard about it, he warned asthma patients: quit the 【morning jog】, especially outside on 【winter】 mornings when the air is 【polluted】! It’s both 【cold】 and 【toxic】! The chilly dawn air makes pollutants and dust settle lower; while running you breathe deeper and blood circulates faster, so this cold poison gets sucked deep into the lungs, into the alveoli, and is harder to expel. Because the cold air is dry, it also dries out the entire respiratory epithelium
The epithelial cells lose moisture. Air that is dry, cold, and dirty worsens airway injury, aggravates allergy and chronic inflammation, producing even more IgE—immunoglobulin E—exacerbating immune imbalance and making asthma more severe, more complicated, and harder to treat! Asthma patients especially should 【not】 run while puffing 【inhalers】 like Seretide or Symbicort (budesonide + formoterol). Those are anesthetics; they numb the nervous system so of course the allergic reaction vanishes for the moment, and with the airways dilated it feels like deep breathing is fine, but the inflammation is still there! The combined chemical toxins of the compound inhaler add layers of poison and further parch the airway mucosa. The dilated airway is actually being forcibly stretched open, losing its natural elasticity and plasticity, just like blood vessels after bypass surgery—stiff and stuck. In essence it dramatically accelerates aging of the entire respiratory system. So for an asthma patient to inhale 【Symbicort】 while jogging is slow 【suicide】!
One ingredient in 【Symbicort】, budesonide, is a glucocorticoid—also called 【cortisol】, the 【stress hormone】 or 【death hormone】. It 【suppresses】 normal 【immune】 function, giving short-term anti-inflammation but long-term inflammation! The body becomes more prone to severe 【infections】 and slower to heal! The second ingredient, formoterol, is a β2-receptor agonist, an 【airway dilator】 that causes 【smooth muscle】 relaxation, ischemia, and weakness, making it impossible to 【cough out】 cold phlegm and toxic phlegm (old-school doctors like Ni Haixia always said lots of phlegm isn’t scary—being unable to cough it out is). The combined product can only create lifelong dependence on 【antibiotics】 and 【steroids】, a new generation of 【sick men of East Asia】! All 【cold toxins】 are 【solidified】 deep in the lungs, inside the 【alveoli】, by Symbicort and Seretide. After use, asthma 【symptoms】 may vanish in the short term so it seems cured. But once the drug is stopped, the body feels awful; stop for long enough and asthma can suddenly 【explode】, unstoppable, inevitably progressing to 【COPD】!
General 【Zhang Xueliang】, my late friend, once liked a bit of 【small poison】—opium. After three days without it he felt miserable. His wife 【Yu Fengzhi】 brought in a Japanese doctor; one injection and the craving vanished. Thinking it was a 【cure】, she paid big money for daily shots for both of them… In the end they both became hooked on the 【big poison】, morphine. Two 【addicts】, unable to live a day 【without poison】, once wishing they were dead.
Thus you cannot treat 【little poison】 with 【big poison】, cannot treat 【asthma】 with 【Symbicort】 or 【Seretide】, because they lead to 【COPD】, severe asthma—the disease that used to be America’s third leading cause of death and is now China’s third! COPD patients on 【Symbicort】, 【Seretide】 cannot go a day without the drug; the more they use, the faster and more painfully they die! Long-term, high-dose use causes not just smooth muscle but all 【upper-jiao】 muscles, including the myocardium, to become flabby, weak, and ischemic, leading to 【ischemic heart disease】, 【heart attack】, and from hypoxia, ischemia, and vascular sclerosis—【stroke】! When I picture the world’s top three killers, I cannot help but “sigh and wipe my tears, lamenting how hard life is.” Daily hormones, year after year, raise **blood sugar
